Scouts Promise

On my honour, I promise that I will do my best
To do my duty to God and to the Queen,
To help other people
And to keep the Scout Law

Age

The Scout Section is for young people, usually aged between 10½ and 14 years. A young person can come into the Troop at 10 and may stay until they are 14½ years old. The Scout Troop is the third section in the 3rd Whitton Family, above Beavers and Cubs.

Meetings

Scouts meet once a week every Friday from 8.00pm9.30pm.

Activities

3rd Whitton’s Scouts are do-ers and give-it-a-go-ers. Yes we go camping, hiking, swimming, abseiling, climbing, kayaking, canoeing. But we also get to hang out with our friends every week – having fun, playing games, working in a team and taking on new challenges. Each week we give our Scouts the skills they need for school, college, university, the job interview, the big speech and the big dreams… in other words… the skills they need for life.

Joining

We receive many enquiries from parents who want their child to start Scouts. If you would like to enroll a Scout, please contact the Scout Leader Ted – ted@3rdwhitton.org.uk
